Both hierarchies go to a daily level with the days shared members in the alternate hierarchy.

Is it possible to have an alternate YTD rollup on the days in this shared hierarchy?

I am thinking I either have to store the second calendar or make it dynamic. However making dynamic causes issues with the MDX to get the TB_Last value on the alternate as you cant use functions such as LEAVES.

Thanks
Mmichelleclahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06167717193838436418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5844205335075765519.post-29118710704999226192013-07-17T10:09:11.107-04:002013-07-17T10:09:11.107-04:00The PEriodsToDate function allows you to specify a...The PEriodsToDate function allows you to specify a hierarchy in the cases where you have mutliple hierarchies. If you have a situation where different hierarchies would yield different results then I would create additional View members with modified MDX to focus on the different queries. In one model I have a primary roll up and then a week roll up, so in my view dim I have MTD, QTD, and YTD all based on primary hierarchy and then a WTD based on alternate Week hierarchy.Gary Crisci, Oracle Ace Directorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06456067403967931271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5844205335075765519.post-84666964082726946522013-07-17T09:37:14.222-04:002013-07-17T09:37:14.222-04:00Hi Gary,
